World's Richest Bands of the Year
According to 'Forbes Magazine' these bands pulled in the big bucks in 2012:
At the top of the list, U2 is the top earner, pulling an estimated $195 million within the year. The Black Eyed Peas came in second, and raked in $61 million- pretty good for being on hiatus. The Eagles earned the number 3 spot with $60 million. At number 4 is the Dave Matthews band, with $51 million in the can. At number 5 is Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers with earnings of $38 mill.
